Anaphylaxis Course
Victoria is the first State in Australia to introduce laws surrounding the safe management of anaphylaxis in kindergartens, childcare centres and schools.
As of 14 July 2008, all staff members worling in a licensed childrens services organisation are required to undertake training in the administration of the adrenaline auto-injection device (EpiPenŽ) at least every 12 months.
The following accredited courses meet the regulatory requirement for anaphylaxis management
training:
- First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis (21659VIC)
